Description
Before use: Boil Evelina menstrual cup in plain water for 5 – 7 minutes or use Belladot Cleansing gel. This is done at each menstrual period, before the first insertion. Tip: Evelina menstrual cup is easiest to insert when it is slightly damp. Every 4 – 8 hours you empty the cup, rinse it and put it back in. Cleanse with Belladot Cleansing Gel as needed. If the protruding part (that you pull) feels too long, simply cut it to the desired length. When you take out the Evelina menstrual cup, angle it a little carefully and bring out one edge first, to release the vacuum. If you have a narrow vaginal opening, we recommend a little Belladot lubricant to facilitate insertion. ATTENTION! Do not use petroleum jelly or silicone-based lubricant. How to do it: Wash your hands thoroughly. Press the cup in half. Start by folding it once (see picture 1). Then hold the Evelina menstrual cup together so that it fits you exactly when inserted into the vagina (see picture 2). Sit or stand in a position so that the Evelina menstrual cup is easy to insert/remove. Unlike a tampon, the cup is inserted into the vaginal opening (see picture 3). Insert your finger and feel along the sides of the Evelina menstrual cup so that it is open. If not, squeeze the bottom of the cup and twist a little to open it (see picture 4). Evelina menstrual cup how to do it Keep in mind: If the Evelina menstrual cup does not sit far enough down at the opening of the vagina, leakage can occur. Also check that the small air holes at the edge are not blocked. In case of very heavy menstruation, you can supplement with a panty liner. Storage: Store Evelina menstrual cup in the supplied bag when not in use (never in a plastic bag or closed container). If you experience pain, irritation or have gynecological problems before, during or after using the Evelina menstrual cup, you should consult a doctor.
