BEFORE YOU START • Inspect the clipper and make sure it is free of hair and dirt. • Always comb your hair before cutting so that it is tangle-free and dry. TO ATTACH A COMB • Hold the comb with the teeth facing upwards. • Align the legs of the comb with the holes in the top of the trimmer on each side of and slide the legs into the trimmer until they click (Fig B). • To remove, pull the comb directly from the clipper. ADJUSTING THE CUTTING LENGTH • The clipper comes with three adjustable combs 3 to 13 mm, 14 to 24 mm and 25 to 35 mm. • These provide a cutting length that can be adjusted between 3 and 35 mm in steps of 1 mm. 1. Choose the comb that suits the result you want to achieve. 2. Mount the cam, then rotate the length adjustment knob until the length you want is displayed in the cam length marker window. 3. The length of the setting color of the wheel matches the length of the marker color of the comb. 4. For example, if you want a cut length of 20mm, mount the 14 to 24mm comb, then rotate until 20 is displayed in the 14-24mm comb length setting window. 5. Use the clipper without fixed combs to trim the hair close to the skin. 6. This will trim the hair to 1mm, holding the clipper so the blades are perpendicular to the skin will trim the hair to 0.5mm
